The STORM Lab team attended 2019 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) which took place in Macau, November 4-8. The work “Control of Magnetic Endoscopes under Anatomical Uncertainties” comparing two different control approaches for magnetic levitation was presented by Lavinia.
Aleks and Giovanni presented two posters at the workshop about “Intelligent Robot Interactions with the Anatomy” in which Aleks’ “Towards Autonomous Tissue Retraction in Minimally Invasive Surgery” won the Best Poster Award.
